Shammi Kapoor tended to act opposite heoines half his age, but he has also acted opposite at least one heroine in his age group. And that is Mala Sinha. In fact, Mala Sinha had acted opposite Shammi Kapoor as early as in 1959 when he was finding his feet as the actor he subsequently became in 1960s.

This song from “Begaana” (1963) has been sung by Rafi and picturised on an obscure actor called Shailesh Kumar who had played the role of hero in this movie, with Dharmendra playing second fiddle to him.
