The world of Hindi movie music is like a vast ocean containing treasures within it. Popular and well known songs are like treasures that are known to everyone. Then there are lesser known treasures that one can come across easily enough in ankle deep shallow portion of the ocean. But there are treasures that are lying hidden far out and deep into this ocean and the only way one can discover them is by going into great depth and diving repeatedly and patiently to come up with goodies.

“Naagin” song has the most well known “been” tune in Bollywood music, but this “been” music in this song from “Phaagun” (1958) is just as wonderful.
