If there are beaches, then why should there not be songs picturised on beaches. Of course there are such songs, even if they are far less in number than songs supposed to be picturised around trees. 😉

Here is yet another song about whose existence I was totally ignorant. And what a superb song it is ! It is from the movie “Adhikaar” (1954) from which I have already posted an equally awesome song ( “kamaata hoon bahut kuch” sung by Kishore Kumar and Geeta Dutt).

Kishore Kumar and Mumtaz were signed up for a movie called “Pyaar Deewaana” in 1966 when both were relatively small time players in Bollywood scheme of things. The makers of the movie were equally small time players who had signed up small time artists for other tasks viz lyrics writing, music direction etc too and the shooting of this movie progressed at snail’s pace.
