So far, I have been presenting qawwaalis from the decade of seventies on the blog. For a change today, I am presenting this one from the decade of sixties. In fact, today’s song was lying with me since long and Initially I sent only the audio of this song (the only vailable version at that time). Hullo Atuldom
I have been wanting to send this song for almost a week or ten days now. I had first thought of 12th July which was the death anniversary of Jubilee Kumar a.k.a Rajendra Kumar. But, I was unable to, due to various reasons.
Then, yesterday, 20th July the birth anniversary of Rajendra Kumar- missed that too. Why? I was too busy attending (online) birthday parties. And reading all the blog-birthday posts. That simple.
But today is another opportunity to present this song to the blog-followers. Anand Bakshi – the lyricist- has his birth anniversary today. Would have been 91.
