We are, in turn, tied to an ever forward-progressing passage of time, where the moments once passed, can never be revisited. It is a very special occasion for the blog but this special occasion escaped everyone’s attention. The reason could be that my manual score keeping gave me a different figure compared to the automatic count given by the blog. When I accidentally looked at the count on the right hand side of the blog, I found out that Asha Bhonsle’s count of songs in the blog stood at the round figure of 2000 !

If I were to define ‘Assistant Music Directors’ in the context of Bollywood, I will define them as those talented musicians whose talents are exploited by some of the top music directors for furthering their own brand of music in Bollywood.
