“Maa Baap” (1944) is an obscure movie with hardly any details available about it. From the little I have been able to gather about this movie, it seems that it had Nazir Khan, Veena, Rajkumari Shukla, Yakub in it.

The year 1950 saw the release of 36 songs by Mukesh, from 16 films. (This information is as per the Mukesh Geet Kosh). Of these, we already have 28 songs posted here on this blog. This is the 29th Mukesh song from the year 1950. I am continuing the search for the rest. I have been able to locate five more songs, but two songs are still eluding me. One song is from the film ‘Bebas’ – a solo song “Do Dil Hon Do Dilon Ko Ulfat Ka Sahara Ho”. The second song is from the film ‘Preet Ka Geet’ – a group song along with Zohrabai and Geeta Dutt, “Paayal Bole Re”. I request friends and readers on this blog to kindly share any information about the availability of these songs.
