This is a comedy song from film NAGINA-51. The singers are Rafi and Shamshad. This was a Nutan- Nasir Khan film.
Sometime back I finished reading Nutan’s Biography, written by her close friend and noted journalist, Lalita Tamhane. The book is titled ‘ ASEN MEE…NASEN MEE ‘ (I may be…I may not be). Many interesting things which are not well known are mentioned in this book. I will try to describe a part of it, from Nutan’s early career, as I remember. Shammi Kapoor found his true identity in Hindi movies with “Tumsa Nahin Dekha” (1956). Prior to this movie, he was an underconfident struggling actor who played second fiddle to the leading ladies opposite him. Most movies (if not all) featuring Shammi Kapoor in the lead fared poorly at the box office.
