Chris Gayle’s recent record breaking feat in the 20/20 match at Bangalore, nowhere near compares with Atul ji’s performance on this blog. 😀 😀

I would challenge Chris Gayle to continue scoring this way, even for just one more match. Oh, I am so confident that he will not be able to repeat his performance. Not very soon, and neither so convincingly. But on our blog, the centuries being posted by Atul ji are remarkable – consistent, and incessant in their regularity. Just two weeks, give or take a day, and there we are, another century notched up on the board.

But well before this song, I had come across another song ‘lehron ke rele sang naiya mori khele’ from the same film sung by Hridaynath Mangeshkar. The voice sounded girlish. My first reaction was that it must have been some mistake on the part of uploader of the audio clip to name him as a singer of this song. My doubt stemmed from the fact that Hridaynath Mangeshkar was born on October 27, 1937. At the time of recording this song, he must be around 15 years by which time the voice of a boy should have turned in to a boyish or a male voice. The movie had fifteen songs in all. Fourteen of them have been discussed in the blog so far.
