Hullo to all Atulwaasis
We had two opportunities to meet fellow Atulwaasis last year- one when guruji visited Bangalore and next when Avinashji visited. Both have given me lasting memories. I also liked Avinashji’s idea of getting Atul’s Banjaarey to sign an autograph with their thoughts to make up a Collage of Autographs. It was to show something about our interests or as Avinashji has said in his write up on the Gangout—Man Ki Baat. It has showed that most were in a philosophical mood and had unknowingly or unintentionally contributed to the thought (my own thinking too) “Zindagi kaisi hai paheli/ Kal kya hoga kisiko pata”- the very basis of a Banjaara’s (Nomad’s) life. One of the songs which I keep humming a lot also points to the same thought of Zindagi being a Paheli—and that song is Aage Bhi Jaane Na Tu, Peeche Bhi Jaane Na Tu, Jo Bhi Hain Bas Yehi Ek Pal Hai.

Hi everyone in Atuldom
Happy New Year 2017 to all
I was trying my level best to resist the urge to write out a song in memory of RDB- our very own Pancham. Not because I don’t like RD Burman, I know the whole world of Atulites know how much I love Pancham, just that I was too occupied with other things which needed a lot of my time. But then I remembered that I had selected a song and had wanted to send it across to Atul to be posted today (4 january 2017).

Each and everyone of us is required to do some work for a living. Often one needs to give one’s best while working. But then there are government jobs where one can seemingly get away by doing poor quality work. “Doing work takes effort whether you do a good quality work or a poor quality work, so why not do a good quality work by taking some extra pains and avoid the bad name that you may get due to your poor quality”-This is an advice that I give to everyone who cares to listen.

Clearly the adage “once bitten, twice shy” doesn’t apply to Atulites.
At least not to Batulites (Bengaluru-based Atulites).
Otherwise there’s no reason they’d ask me to post a write-up on the blog, describing the recent gangout event. The last time I wrote a post on a Bengaluru gangout, it was more than six months after the event! By then, I’d forgotten some details – and possibly many had lost interest. 🙂
