“Saath Saath” (1982) was produced by “The Film Company”. It was produced by Dilip Dhawan. Raman Kumar was the writer and director of this movie. The movie had Farooque Sheikh, Dipti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Satish Shah, Neena Gupta, Sudha Chopra, Avtaar Gill, A K Hangal, Helena Luke, Ifthekar, Javed Khan, Kiran Vairale, Yunus Parwaiz, Geeta Siddharth,

Experienced music lovers can often identify the music director by listening to the music of a song. Most music directors have their “signature” tunes that differentiate them from others. So most of the time one can identify a tune as being a tune of Naushad, O P Nayyar, Madan Mohan, S D Burman, Roshan, Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal etc.

The first solo song that Kishore Kumar sang in his playback career was for Dev Anand in the movie “Ziddi” (1948) under the music direction of Khemchand Prakash. Then S D Burman, his mentor used his good offices to get Kishore Kumar to give plaback for Raj Kapoor in “Pyaar” (1950). But from that time onwards, Kishore Kumar sang for himself or for Dev Anand, in case it was a Dev Anand movie with S D Burman’s music direction. I can think of one more exception during 1950s though where Kishore Kumar sang for someone other than himself or Dev Anand. It was the iconic song Din hai suhaana aaj pahli taarikh hai(Pahli taarikh) (1954) which was picturised on Raja Nene.
