When I saw the lyrics of this song (sent by Prakashchandra), I felt that this song was discussed long back. But despite my thorough checking, I drew a blank. So here was another well known song that had somehow remained undiscussed all these days, while I was under the impression that I had already discussed it.

“Sangeeta” (1950) is a movie produced by Sudha Pictures and directed by Ramanlal Desai. This movie had Shyam, Suraiyya, Nigar Sultana, Mumtaz Ali, Pran, Ram Singh, Radakrishnan etc in it.

I tend to get confused a lot about the movies “Bahaaron Ke Sapne” (1967) and Bahaaron Ki Manzil” (1968). “Bahaaron Ke Sapne” is a Rajesh Khanna- Asha Parekh with R D Burman’s music whereas “Bahaaron Ki Manzil” (1968) have Dharmendra and Meena Kumari in lead roles and it has music by Laxmikant Pyarelal.

“Baharon Ke Sapne” (1967) was one of the first movies of Rajesh Khanna ant it was released in 1967, which was the debut year for Rajesh Khanna. In this movie he was paired opposite Asha Parekh, with whom he would go on to act in quite a few other movies as well.

I have discussed as many as four songs from “Adaalat” (1958) and I was surprised to receive the lyrics of this song from Prakashchandra. When I checked up, I found that this well known song from “Adaalat” (1958) was actually missing from the blog.

I have discussed as many as four songs from ‘Meri Soorat Teri Aankhen” (1963). Each of these songs are timeless classics. After discussing each one of them, I felt that there was no need or room for any other great song in the movie.
