For that matter I find it difficult to say who the singer is. All sources describe the voice as Shamshad Begam’s though the voice sounds rather different to me. Can anyone confirm/correct who the singer could be ?

I have discussed as many as five songs from “Sainyyan” (1951) and I thought I had discussed them all. But now I find, much to my pleasant surprise, that there are more songs in this movie. In fact, I have covered only half the songs of this movie, as this movie has ten songs in it. Ten Sajjad Hussain compositions in one movi ! It means that the working conditions during the making of this movie met with Sajjad Hussain’s approval and he did not feel the need to walk out of this movie in a huff unlike quite a few other movies of those days. And the songs that he composed are such delightful songs.
