“Patanga” (1949) had that iconic song “Mere piya gaye Rangoon wahaan se kiya hai telephoon”. It is perhaps the only song from this movie that is known to most people.

“Patanga” (1949) is known for its legendary song “mere piya gaye Rangoon wahaan se kiya hai telephoon”.
This movie in fact was a big musical blockbuster of its time, and it was full of great songs.
