‘Sipahsalar’ (1956) was produced by F C Mehra under his banner, Eagle Films and was directed by Mohammed Hussain. The star cast included Shammi Kapoor and Nadira in lead roles supported by Kamal Kapoor, Sham Kumar, Samson, S Nazir, Cuckoo, Helen, Kumkum, Uma Dutt, Jagdish Kanwal, Rajan Kapoor etc. It is apparent from what I have seen from a few photographs of the films on the internet that the film belongs to the genre of costume drama.

He knows he can not do so, so looks out for those who can do them. A normal person likes to see a man do super-human activity like fighting with hungry lions or teaching a lesson to Roadside Romeos or punishing wrong-doers etc. If possible he would like to do these things himself, but it is not possible for an ordinary man. With passage of time, we in this blog have become sedate and relaxed, as befits people who have matured (read aged). 🙂 Things that we found exciting in the past fail to enthuse us any longer. The sense of keen anticipation is no longer there. People in the past would begin to think and talk in advance about forthcoming important blog events. That is no longer the case.
Take the case of Blog Century posts. This regular event used to be a keenly anticipated event in the past, even when such an even used to occur once every fortnight. Today, this event has become more rare and happens once in two months (or more), and yet goes largely unnoticed.
