Hullo Atuldom

Choosing a song for today’s post was not so easy. We are celebrating our beloved Kishore Kumar’s 92nd birthday and seem to have run out of all popular songs. Songs that are played on the repeat on music channels and FM radio are not for us. Rafi Sahab’s Legendary Associations – 6
———————————–————––—

Remembering Mohammed Rafi Sahab on his 41st remembrance day :

Writing a post of a song by Mohammed Rafi Sahab is almost a second nature thing for me. I have not counted but nearly 50 % on my post must be of his songs, the exalted one, who was especially blessed by the Almighty with a life, spend smiling and spreading smiles as far as I know. Hullo Atuldom

July 31st. Important date for lovers of Bollywood sangeet. This date-41 years ago- music lovers lost a singer who was a wonderful human being. He went by the name Mohammad Rafi.

We used to have pages and pages written about the greatness of this legend’s voice, singing style, kind-heartedness, etc in the pre-internet era. Then various people took up blogging as a passion and any blog on Bollywood and its music will definitely have atleast a few posts on this great singer. AM I COMPLAINING? NO NOT AT ALL. Because as our very own Rajaji has said in many of his posts ‘one cannot tire of writing or reading about Rafisaab and his persona’.
