C Ramchandra was one of the earlier pioneers of Bollywood movie music. He was one of the first music directors to make the most of the voice of Lata. In fact, Lata-C Ramchandra compositions are comparable to Lata-Madan mohan compositions, which came later.

Kishore Kumar and R D Burman absolutely lorded over Bollywood music scene in late 1960s and early 1970s. Most of their creations , irrespective of the quality of the movie, were outstanding.

Believe it or not , there was a Hindi movie with a title like “Shin Shinaaki Bubbla Boo” as early as 1952. One may think that this movie, going by its title must be full of forgettable songs based on western music.
