Yesterday Peevesie’s mom made her debut as a lyrics contributor by sending the lyrics of a song from “Taxi Taxie” (1977). “Nayi Raahen” (1959) is an obscure movie by now. It was a Goel Cine Corporation Production. Devendra Goel was the producer and the movie was directed by Brij Sadanah. Starcast of the movie includes names like Ashok Kumar,Geeta Bali,Shubha Khote, Anoop Kumar, Nazir Hussain, RadhaKrishan, Madan Puri, Mohan Choti, Nazir Kashmiri etc.

I was aware of the film Suhagan (1964) but never knew that one more film by the same name was released in 1954. In fact, I found that most of the websites including IMD jumbled the details of both these films in Suhagan (1954). As per Indian Film Trade website, the film was produced by Datta Dharmadhikari, a Marathi film veteran who has been known for producing and directing family drama films. Anant Mane, also a veteran Marathi film director, directed the film. The star cast included Geeta Bali and Jaswant in the lead role and Shyam Kumar, Sulochana, Vijaylaxmi, Janakidas in subsidiary roles.
