MUGHAL-E-AZAM-1960 was a milestone movie in the annals of Hindi films. Almost all the songs of this movie became famous and popular too. With almost over 70% population (as against 85% in 1947) living in Villages and depending on farming, even in these days. No wonder if all our major events have an Agricultural base.

I like the singing style of Yesudas. He has not done too many songs in Hindi, but his songs in CHITCHOR are still echoing in people’s ears. I have heard many songs of Yesudas in Malyalam. Though I did not understand the language, the voice of Yesudas was enough for me to enjoy them.
