Soral was the producer of this movie and it was directed by Bharathi Rajaa. The cast of this movie has Sunny Deol, Poonam Dhillon, Prem Chopra, Bindu, Dr.Shreeram Lagoo, Om Shivpuri, Satyen Kapoo, C.S.Dubey, Kiran Virale (Vairale), Jankidas, Rakesh Bedi, Natasha Sinha, Roopalee, Ramlal, H.L.Pardesi, Dulari, Mahavir Rana, Parveen Sood, Mohit Kumar, S.B.Sharma, Chandan, and Dharmendra in Special Appearance. ‘Dukh Sukh-1974’ was directed by Majid Maqbool for ‘Nausheen Films, Bombay’. This movie had Sandeep Kumar, Shreedevi (I am not aware if she is the same Sreedevi that we know), Chaand, Majid Maqbool, Farshori, Swaroop, Shams, Lalitashri, Jyoti, Chandermohan, Revati, Hafeez, Khan, Pritam, Vijaya and others. As per HFGK Vol – V (1971-1980) this movie had five songs written by Javed Qadri and composed to music by Vitthal-Mumtaz. Geet Kosh has left space indicating more songs might have been recorded for this movie. The singers for the five songs listed in Geet Kosh are Manna Dey, Shashilata Virk, Mohd Rafi, Asha Bhonsle, and Krishna Kalle.

Today I am presenting a lesser heard melodious duet from an unreleased movie ‘Rani Chandravati-1960s’. It is a nice melodious song suitable to be heard at late night (viz fitting the category of chitrahaar song).
HFGK Vol-IV (1961-1970)mentions this movie under the section of Un-Released movies. Geet Kosh lists six songs leaving space for the possibility of more songs. Singers for all the six songs have been mentioned. Suman Kalyanpur and Subir Sen are the singers. Suman Kalyanpur has sung three solos, whereas Subir Sen has sung one solo.
S.N. Tripathi is the music director. Out of the six songs of the movie two are known to be penned by lyricist B.D. Mishra. The song being covered today is one of these two songs.
Our senior member Shree Sudhir jee had introduced this movie on the blog on 06.01.2016 by presenting tth December 2015, Sudhir jee has also mentioned the following about this today’s movie.
Today I bring on a very rare solo song from an unreleased film, ‘Rani Chandrawati’ from the 1960s. Some sources peg the year for this film as 1968. However, as per the Geet Kosh, this film was not released for exhibition.
The second song from this movie, in the voice of Suman Kalyanpur, was posted on the blog on 17.12.2025.
Today I am presenting the third song from this movie here. This song is a duet song in the voices of Suman Kalyanpur and Subir Sen.

Geet Kosh Vol-V (1971-1980) mentions this movie ‘Necklace Thief’ as a movie produced under the banner of Shree Nevatiya Films, Bombay. No details about the cast of this movie are available there. The song list mentions two songs for this movie. Both songs are in the voice of Krishna Kalle. Spaces are left after these two songs indicating the possibility that more songs could well have been recorded whose details are not known. Madhukar Rajasthani is the lyricist for this movie and music composer is Suman Jagdish.

Today I am presenting a lesser heard song from the movie ‘Taraana-1979’. In fact this song was not included in the movie though it was recorded. I had in my earlier posts presenting this movie’s songs mentioned the following;
HFGK Vol-V (1971-1980) lists twelve songs for this movie. However, it seems that two songs were not included in the movie and out of these two even the audio/record is also not available for one song.
The cast of this movie ‘Taraana-1979’ included Ranjeeta, Mithun Chakraborty, Dr Shreeram Lagoo, Urmila Bhatt, Jayshree T., Sharat Saxena, and Om Shivpuri. They were supported by Yunus Parvez, Janki Das, Sundar, Bhagwan, Shakeel, Satyabhan Sinha, Naresh, Pardesi, Master Sandeep, Shobha Khote, Mala Jaggi, Uma Khosla, and Jagdeep. The story, screenplay and dialogues of this movie were written by Khalid & Narvi. Editing of this film was done by Mukhtar Ahmed. Music for this movie was composed by Raamlaxman. Lyricist Ravindra Rawal and Tilakraj Thapar penned six songs each for this movie. Usha Mangeshkar, Shailendra Singh, Aarti Mukherjee, Jagjit Singh, Dilraj Kaur, Chetan and Varsha Bhonsle were the singers.
