I had mentioned a little known fact in some earlier posts that Madan Mohan had once given music for an Amitabh Bachchan movie. Here is another little known fact- Amitabh Bachchan has also worked in a Rajshri productions movie. And this Rajshri production movie was very much a small budget deglamourised affair as was the case for all Rajshri productions movies of those days.

Kishore Kumar and Mumtaz were signed up for a movie called “Pyaar Deewaana” in 1966 when both were relatively small time players in Bollywood scheme of things. The makers of the movie were equally small time players who had signed up small time artists for other tasks viz lyrics writing, music direction etc too and the shooting of this movie progressed at snail’s pace.
