“Ganga Jamuna Saraswati” was a Manmohan Desai movie produced in 1988. In my opinion, Manmohan Desai was taking his audience for a ride by that time and was even succeeding.

I have listened to this song many a times. Considering the heavy duty word like “Sheesha e dil” in this song, I was under the impression that this must be a serious song. When I watched the picturisation of the song, I found that it was a fun song picturised on a beach.

“Haathi mere Saathi” (1971) was a movie that was meant specifically for kids. And I happened to be a kid those days. Needless to say, I loved this movie.
