“Daak Baabu”(1954) was producer and directed by Lekhraj Bhakri for Jubilee Pictures, Bombay. The movie had Nadira, Kuldip Kaur, Talat Mahmood, Yashodhara Katju, Radha Kishan, Manmohan Krishna, Ram Avatar, Roshan, Uma, Munshi, Ranjhodh, Ramdayal, P.N.Sharma etc in it.

Today 23rd March, 2022 is the ninety-second Martyrdom Day of the great revolutionary of India, Bhagat Singh and his two comrades – Sukhdev and Rajguru. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru were hanged to death on 23rd March, 1931 by the then British Government in India. Every year on 23rd March we pay our tributes to these great martyrs on blog.

Today we have a 2-part song from the film Guzara-1954.
The film was made by Aina pictures-owned by S.M.Yusuf. The film was produced and directed by S.M.Yusuf himself. he also did a small role in this film- the only film role he ever did in his film career. There were 3 lyricists- Raja Mehdi Ali Khan (5 songs), Fauk Jami (2 songs) and Munir Lucknowi (1 song) for the film’s 8 songs. Music Director was Ghulam Mohammad.
