One was released in 1957 and it had a few nice Talat Mahmood songs under the music direction of Ravi. Then there was another movie of this name in 1972, and it too had a nice song, which is the song under discussion here.

For instance, movies like “Aashiq hoon bahaaron ka”. “dilwaale dulhaniya le jayenge” are two movies whose titles were clearly inspired from popular songs of “Aashiq” and “Chor machaaye shor” respectively.
