“Naach Ghar” (1959) was a Kwality Pictures Production. It was directed by R S Tara. The movie had Ashok KUmar, Anoop Kumar, Kamala Laxman, Helen, Shobha Khote, Iftekhar, Gopi Krishna etc in it. Not much is known about this movie.

I have just found a Rafi-Lata duet, from the film “Naach Ghar”. This is a film released in 1959, with N. Datta as Music Director and Saahir Ludhianvi is the lyricist. This movie seems to be full of duets, with as many as four Lata-Rafi duets, one Asha – Rafi and one Geeta Dutt- Rafi.

The peculiarity of the choice of words and themes of songs in Hindi films will probably never cease to surprise. As we continue to unearth more and more unheard songs, we continue to come across songs that will make one wonder and bring a laugh at the same time.
