What a find!! Bless this YouTube, and all the scattered music lovers all over the globe. Somewhere, someone is holding on to some fabulous music and then voila, it appears on the net. A song I have been searching for a long time. I am sure it happens with others also; it starts with the thought – there is something one is missing. At times it will pass through the mind, and then get folded under some other thoughts. When I log in online, there are so many other things to look for, that are the significant need for the current series of posts, that this one (and many other such things) do not readily jump to the front line. And then one day, I am searching for something else, when I bump into this one thing, completely out of the blue, and the only expression I can manage at the moment is “O My God”.

“Piya Milan Ki Aas” (1961) is a movie that was produced by Vijay Films. S N Tripathi was the director of this movie. The star cast of this movie had Manok Kumar, Ameeta, Sunder, Pratima Devi, Jeewan, Nalini Chonker, Daisy Irani, Indira Bansal, Polson, S. N. Tripathi etc.

“Panghat” (1943) is a Prakash pictures movie which was produced by Vijay Bhatt and directed by K J Parmar and Mahesh Chandra. There was not much known about this movie, but thanks to Mr Arunkumar’s comments about this movie in another song of “Panghat”, we now have a good idea about the story of this movie as well as about the actors.

“Shankar Khan” (1966) is a B grade movie about which very little information is available. What I know is that it was a Dara Singh movie produced by Dara Singh himself. This movie had actors like Prithviraj Kapoor, Dara Singh, Randhawa, Jagirdar, Kammo, Pratima Devi, Mohan Choti, Jagdeep, Rajan Kapoor, Savita etc in it.
