“Waaman Avtaar” (1955) is one of those B grade mythological/religious movies that the mainstream movie goers did not patronise. The movie may not have been a big hit, but I guess that a movie made on such shoe string budget can always earn a small and tidy profit for its makers.

I have not watched the movie called “Talaaq” (1958) but from its songs and some online reading up (both could be misleading 😀 ) leads me to believe that Rajendra Kumar and Kamini Kadam get married, have a child (Honey Irani) then fight among themselves and then file for divorce. In all these, the child finds himself kicked around like a football. when the warring duo finally reconcile with each other and search for their child, they find out that he is not to be found. For all they know, he has become an orphan and who knows, he could well have ended up in an orphanage.
