The lead characters of this movie are Motilal, Veena, Nigar Sultana, Cuckoo, Bibbo, B Pendarkar etc. The lyrics are created by Dr. Safdar Aah Sitapuri, and the music compositions are by Anil Biswas. The singer is Naseem Akhtar.

But that is not how they worked in the (G)olden days. The created one gem after another in the same movie, as if this was the last movie of their careers. And they continued it for their other movies as well for their entire careers that lasted a few decades. and then there were many others who worked in the same way. No wonder we are left with a huge body of quality music that we can keep exploring for decades, without being able to exhaust it.
