Blog Day : 3463 Post No. : 13900

Exactly one month and a day – from the time that we hit the last century milestone. The 13800th song had come on to the blog on 10th Dec. It is nearly 11 PM Today (27 december 2017)and no post has been made so far, thus threatening a proud record running into hundreds of days when there was no interruption of days as far as posting at least one write up was concerned. I have been travelling for the last 30 hours, and I had thought that I would be able to post during day time. But I found that my dongle did not get enough strength of signal and so I could not log on to internet.

Today, 25th of October 2017, is the thirty seventh ‘remembrance anniversary’ of the great ‘poet-lyricist’ Sahir Ludhianvi. He passed away this day in 1980 leaving behind the great legacy of his poems and leaving behind his immortal poetry which people are still enjoying, discussing, and even doing research on it and writing about his life and his poetry. And like me there will be many who will agree that Sahir and his poetry will be discussed as long as Hindi Cinema and HFM exists and his poetry will be discussed so long as humanity and human relations, emotions exists.
