I was aware of a movie called “Haseenon Ka Devtaa”, but now I realise that there was another movie called “Gunaahon Ka Devtaa” (1967). This movie “Gunaahon Ka Devtaa” (1967) had Jeetendra and Rajshree in lead roles.

In this blog, I have written about quite a few lesser known singers, lyricists and music directors and posted their songs. I in fact take pride in the fact that this blog is perhaps the only place where one can get the most information about their songs.

In my bid to clear the backlog of my old farmaishes, here is one song whose farmaish was given more than one year back. This song is from “Suhaagan” (1964). This song is a duet sung by Lata and Manna Dey. Madan Mohan is the music director. Madan Mohan teamed up with Raja Mehdi Ali Khan and Rajinder Krishan in most of his movies and on the other hand he rarely worked with the leading names (Shailendra, Majrooh Sultanpuri, Sahir Ludhianvi and Hasrat Jaipuri). But in this movie, he worked with Hasrat Jaipuri. And what superb lyrics Hasrat Jaipuri came up with in this movie !

I had mentioned in one of my earlier posts that I keep an excel sheet to keep track of all the songs posted, as well as all the farmaishes sent by readers. It appears that Sid, a longtime reader and farmaish sender of this blog also maintains an excel sheet to keep track of the farmaishes sent. 😀 Sid would often remind me of farmaishes sent long time back.

When it comes to remembering important dates, I am quite forgetful and absent minded. The only important date in my family that I never forget is my daughter’s birthday, because she looks forward to it from many days in advance. Other than that, details like my wife’s birthday, our wedding anniversary etc are dates that I always forget, much to the chagrin of my wife.

Out of all the modes of public transport, tri wheeler Cycle rickshaw (popularly called Rickshaw) has been one of the most popular mode of transport of most Indians for several decades.
