Among the most charming actors ever to grace the silver screen, Shammi Kapoor was the only superstar perhaps who excelled in making people laugh as well as make them fall in love with him at the same time with equal ease. He inherited the iconic blue eyes, fair complexion and the height from his family but certainly he won the hearts of millions of Indians with his very own funny dance steps and lively on screen presence. Shammi Kapoor’s black and white numbers mostly belonged to the rock and roll genre symbolising his charming and youthful personality and most of the songs he featured in are Bollywood classics, cherished by listeners even today.

It is time for the alphabet ‘M’ in the A-Z of Rafi songs series.
