“Free Love” (1974) was not a sleazy movie, despite its title. It was a C grade movie though and it had Kiran Kumar and Yogita Bali in lead roles. The movie sank without trace. I for one never knew in 1974 that a movie of this name was doing the rounds in movie halls. In my town this movie was never released.

I recall listening to this song quite a lot and liking it too. I knew that the song was sung by Mahendra Kapoor, but that is all I knew about this song. And as this song ran its course, I forgot all about this song.

Here is a song from “Apna Banaa Ke Dekho” (1962). This song is sung by Rafi. I do not have the video of this song available, but I am awre that this movie had Manoj Kumar and Asha Parekh in lead roles, so one can safely assume that this song is picturised on Manoj Kumar.
