“Pyaasa Saawan” (1981) was a Tirupati Pictures Production. It was produced by Prasanna Kapoor (Jeetendra’s brother). Dasari Narayana Rao was the director. The movie had Jeetendra, Moushumi Chatterjee, Reena Roy, Aruna Irani, Vinod Mehra, Madan Puri, Deven Verma, Ashalata Wabgaonkar etc in it.

Though “Ek Mahal Ho Sapnon Ka” (1975) is a recent movie by the standards of this blog, this movie is not all that well known today. Perhaps a TV serial of the same name has hijacked the title and that has pushed the information about the movie of 1975 back.

So most of the time one can identify a tune as being a tune of Naushad, O P Nayyar, Madan Mohan, S D Burman, Roshan, Shankar Jaikishan, Laxmikant Pyarelal etc.
