In 1950s, we had a few movies which showed musical showdown by two musicians. Both of them would contest against each other trying to score musical brownie points, before the hero ( singing in the voice of a mainstream singer) would be adjusted to have won against the lesser actor ( singing in the voice of a classical singer).

In Bollywood movies, hero would give lift to the heroine, and after some time, the heroine, accusing the hero of making pass on her, would ask the car to be stopped and she would then walk out of the car.

As melancholic songs go, this song must be a strong title contender. “ham tum se juda hoke mar jaayenge ro ro ke” is such a well known song that it needs no introduction.

I have posted quite a few songs in which two characters, mostly bit actors would sing a song ( often a philosophical song), and a crowd would gather around them to watch their poerformance. After the song, some people in the crowd would part with some small change as a token of their appreciation.

“Gehra Daagh” was a movie of 1963. I was not aware about this movie till recently ( that is till yesterday).
This movie had Rajendra Kumar and Mala Sinha in lead roles.

This song “tumhe paake hamne jahaan paa liyaa hai” is a duet sung by Asha Bhonsle and Rafi. I am sure that I have listened to this song many a times in the past, though I was not paying much attention on those occasions.

Rafi, who had seen his crown as the leading male singer taken over in early 1970s, was in fact almost without work for nearly one year, that is how strongly the gale force of Kishore Kumar’s singing had hit Bollywood music scene those days. But towards the later half of 1970s, one witnesses a resurgence on the part of Rafi. He sang several great songs and it looked like he was yet again on the way to stake claim for the top spot before his untimely demise in 1980.
