The creator of such wonderful and popular melodies like “Do Naina Tumhaare Pyaare Pyaare” (‘Shrimati ji’, 1952), “Girengi Bijliyaan Kab Tak, Jalenge Aashiyaan Kab Tak” (‘Sultaan e Aalam’, 1956), and “Ye Zameen Hamaari Ye Aasmaan Hamaara”(‘Zameen Ke Taare’, 1960) S Mohinder is also the name behind the music of such films as ‘Paapi’ (1953), ‘Shirin Farhaad’ (1955), and ‘Naata’ (1955).
