What is the best stage of one’s life to enjoy Hindi movies ? At the age of 5-6 years, you are too young to realise what is going on, and at the age of 15-16, you have learnt to think logically, and you are then required to become mature and responsible. Till 1974-75, when Rajesh Khanna’s movies began losing their appeal (for me at least), I was happy to watch any Rajesh movie for him alone. There was almost always at least one good song to enjoy in the movie. And very often more than one.

The first Rajesh Khanna movie I remember watching in my life is Kati Patang. By then his star was on the rise and this movie, blockbuster that it turned out to be, only further confirmed this state of affairs.

I have posted a few well known songs from “Aan Milo Sajna”(1970). There are some “lesser known ” songs in this movie. By “lesser known”, what I mean is that I was not aware about these songs being part of “Aan Milo Sajna” when everyone else did.
