Today’s song is from a ‘C’ grade stunt film Al Hilal aka The judgement of Allah- 1958.
Those readers who keep a track of old films may remember that way back in 1935, Sagar Movietone had produced a film of the same name Al Hilal. Today 16th August 2022 is the sixty-eighth birthday of yesteryears’ singer Hemlata. She was born on 16th August, 1954.
I had earlier presented a detailed write-up about Hemlata and her songs those I cherished and the songs those have been permanently embedded in my memory since childhood and in the later growing years of my life journey thereafter. Readers can read this post. I am not going to repeat what I had said in my earlier post.
Today on the occasion of birth anniversary of Hemlata I am presenting a song sung by her from a lesser-known or may be rather an obscure movie ‘Jhoom Uthha Aakaash’ (1973).
