Today (1 may 2016) is known as “May Day” or International Labour Day. Many countries celebrate another festival (spring festival) on this day which is called “May Day”. The labour related “May Day” is celebrated only in few countries on this day. There are countries that celebrate the International Labour day on some other date.

“Main Bhi Ladki Hoon”(1964) was directed by A C Trilokchandar for A V M Productions, Bombay. According to HFGK, this movie had Meena Kumari, Dharmendra, S V RangaRao, Balraj Sahni, Rajan, Om Prakash, Pushplata, Bhagwan, Manorama, Mohan Choti, Kammo, Umesh Sharma etc. in it.

It was because of the Google logo that I became aware that it was ‘World Earth Day’ on 22 april 2016. The next day (23 april 2016) the same google had William Shakespeare on its logo. Our Maheshji had also shared a screen shot of the google page that morning on our WhatsApp group. And on closer research I found that it was the death anniversary of William Shakespeare on that day.

Meerabai, right from her childhood was totally immersed in ‘Prem-Bhakti’  of her ‘Aaraadhya Dev’  Krishna. She suffered lots of humiliations and even an attempt of poisoning in her life. Ultimately she renounced everything and became a ‘Jogan’ in real sense.  As she migrated from Mewaad, Rajasthan to  Dwarika, Gujarat she has written many devotionals in many languages viz. Hindi, Mewaadi and Gujarati.
