Navratri. Nine nights of festivities. Celebrated through the country in honour of Devi Maa, Maa Durga, or the Holy Trinity of Durga Lakshmi Saraswati. Also Rama’s victory over Ravana and rescuing Devi Seeta from Lanka. No wonder the 10th day of the festival is called Vijaya Dashami.

I came across this song very recently on ‘Vividh Bharti’. I liked this song on the very first instance when I listened to it. And as usual thereafter I checked it on the blog. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not yet covered on the blog, because that gives me this opportunity to present this song on the blog. Though I am bit late in sending this to our editors.
