Today I am presenting a qawwaalee song from the movie ‘Bhoola Bhatka-1975’. This “social” movie was directed by Ashwani Kumar for Angel Movies, Bombay. Nikkey Usmani was the producer of this movie. This movie was passed by Censor Board on 13.10.1975. It had Kiran Kumar, Usha Solanki, Akashdeep, Aruna Irani, Sanjana, Kanhaiyalal, Bhagwan, Paro, Mridula, Jankidas, Jagdish Raj, Dharamveer, Moolchand, Baby Seema, Master Paras, Surekha Naik, Madhu, Bhushan, Imtiaz Usmani, Munna, Babu, Vijay, Anwar, Fatima, Anuradha, Fazlu, Saroj, Rita, Raheem etc in it.
Story of this movie ‘Bhoola Bhatka-1975’ was written by Sagheer Usmani, and Brij Katyal wrote the screenplay and dialogues of this movie. Editing of this movie was done by Madhu Adsule.

Hangal, Bharat Kapoor, Urmila Bhatt, Sushma Seth, Neelima, Beena, Master Raju, Naaz, Sudhir, Tom Alter, Raj Kaul, Mohan Shery, Roshan Taneja, Madhup Sharma, Bhushan Tiwari, Prem Sagar, Pardesi, R.S. Chopra, Peelu Wadia, Mona Bahal, Sudhir Dalvi, Colonel Raj Bharti, Ravinder, Malvinder, Ratan Gaurang, Radheshyam and others. Child artistes Bittu, Ravi Walecha, Vikas, Ritwik, Baby Khushboo, Sandeep, Bunty, Rajesh, Baby Shweta and Sood also featured in this movie. Jackie Shroff, Christine O’Neil, and Master Vaibhav Anand made their debut with this movie.

“Meera Ka Mohan-1991″ was directed by K. Ravi Shankar for Super Cassette Industries, Bombay. It was produced by Gulshan Kumar. This movie was passed by Censor Board on 23.12.1991. The cast of this movie has Avinash Wadhawan, Ashwini Bhave, debutant actor Deepak Saraf, with Ashok Saraf and Rakesh Bedi. They were supported by Raj Hans, Brando Bakshi, Kunika, Vikas Anand, Ghanshyam, Leena Kamath, Sunanda, A.K. Hangal, Alok Nath and Pran. Screenplay of this movie was written by Gyan Dev Agnihotri, who also wrote the dialogues for this movie with Soulat Hussain. Editing of this movie was done by the famous editors’ duo Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali.
Since the music director of this movie Arun Paudwal passed away during the making of this movie and before it’s release, this movie was dedicated to his memory.

Today 25th Ocotber 2025 is the 46th Remembrance Day of the legendary poet-lyricist Sahir Ludhianvi. He was born on 08.03.1921 and he passed away on 25thOctober 1980. Today we pay our tributes to him by listening to a song penned by him.
Out of an estimated 724 songs penned by him for Hindi films, 712 songs have already been posted on this blog. So, very few of his film songs are available to be covered here on this occasion.
