There were total 131 movies released in the year 1972. We will be checking this list alphabetically and keep adding such movies which are still missing. Today 9th January’2022 is eighty-eighth birth anniversary of singer Mahendra Kapoor.
He was born on 9th January’1934 and passed away on 27th September’2008.
We remember him on this occasion and pay our tributes by listening to a song sung by him here on this blog. I am a big fan, if not a great fan, of Mahendra Kapoor songs.

Today’s song is from the 1969 movie ‘Sambandh’. I was aware of this ‘title’ since my childhood and I mainly associated this movie with its song ‘Chal Akelaa Chal Akelaa Chal Akelaa, Tera Mela Peechhe Chhoota Raahi Chal Akelaa’. I have a big nostalgia of this song, and whenever I listen to it the song takes me to a different world altogether. This song brings back many memories of childhood for me.

Finally, the year ‘2021’ has become a past now and with that the ‘year 1971’ has become fifty years old too. That is how time flies.
