“Teasing” songs where the hero teases the heroine while singing a roadside Romeo genre of song is not quite my cup of tea, especially when the hero is someone like Rajendra Kumar. But I am prepared to condone such teasing when the hero is someone like Shammi Kapoor or Kishore Kumar. Who said that I am impartial in my likings of actors. 😀 Yes,I am objective and impartial in my likings only when it comes to singers, not actors. 🙂

Most Raakhi songs in Hindi movies are sung by females playing non working sisters and they genuinely pray for the well being of their sisters. With time, even sisters in Hindi movies have become working women. And they do not just do the usual jobs meant for ladies, but they often work in jobs of masculine nature, viz in police.

Today is the day of Rakhi festival, when sisters tie rakhi on the wrist of their brothers. It is assumed that every sister has a brother and vice versa. But that cannot be the case all the time. Just spare a thought for those men who do not have sisters !
