Daan Singh, a name that may not ring many bells or evoke many memories. But the mention of memorable songs such as ‘Mere Hamnasheen Mere Humnawaan’ (Geeta Dutt, Bhool Na Jaanaa, c1965, unreleased), ‘Zikr Hota Hai Jab Qayaamat Kaa’ and ‘Who Tere Pyaar Ka Gham, Ik Bahaanaa Thhaa Sanam’ (both Mukesh, My Love, 1970), or ‘Laagaa Mohey Pehli Baar, Pandrah Pe Ek Nayaa Saal’ (Asha Bhosle, Toofaan, 1969), is sure to vibrate some strings inside and the mind is sure to respond with a ‘wow’.

And this song is simply so endearing that somehow I had to take time out to create the YouTube post and publish it right away. 😀
