Here is a song from a very old movie called “Meenakshi” (1942). I became aware of this movie because of a farmaish by Sid for this song. This movie had Ahindra Chowdhury, Sadhana Bose and K C Dey in lead roles.

I just stumbled upon a song that is picturised on Suraiyya (then a superstar) and Madhubala (an emerging superstar). This song is from “Singaar” (1949) and it is a showdown song between the two.

Here is a song from a very old movie called “Humaayun” (1945). Now 1945 was a different era altogether. Those were the days when the legends of today were no longer legends and we had an entirely different set of legends those days.
