After a gap of almost a week or so, I am returning to the series,” DEBUT OR FIRST FILM SONGS”,with the 9th song .
Readers will recollect that while discussing the Debut song of Madhubala Jhaveri, I had spoken of (or rather written about ) COMETS in the film industry. It has been a while that I made a contribution to the blog. Not that I have been away, but once the momentum is gone, lethargy sets in. Very little is known today about “Meri Amaanat” (1947). This movie was was directed by S Sutar and P Gupte for Vikas Productions. The movie had Nandrekar and Meenakshi in it.

“Daak Bangla” (1947) is a movie produced by Indian National Pictures Limited. 😀
The movie was directed by M Sadiq and it had actors like Wasti , Suraiyya, Gope,Rampyaari,M Ismail etc. Kamal Kapoor made his debut with this movie.
