“Mujhpe Bhi Toh Daalo Ek Nazar” sung by Asha Bhosle, penned by Varma Malik and composed by Sonik Omi.
“Maan Gaye Ustaad” (1981) was directed by Shibu Mitra for ‘Kapoor Films International, Bombay’. It was produced by S.K. Kapoor.
It starred Ashok Kumar, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Ajit, Bindu, Amjad Khan, Pran, Chandrashekhar, Rajendra Nath, Sonia Sahni, Devyani Thakkar, Uttam Sodhi, Johny, Leena Das, Jazbel, Peeloo Wadia, Mohan Choti, Rajan Haksar, Rajan Kapoor, Shetty, Murad, Ghulam Hussain, Moolchand, Gurucharan, Bhola and others. There are few write-ups that I had left unfinished before the ‘gang-out’ happened. They remained unfinished and so got delayed. Today’s post is one such delayed post which was about ‘summer vacations in my childhood days’ and memory of one such movie watched during one summer vacation.
The vacations are over this year and I guess that schools have re-opened everywhere, except a few states where vacations have been extended due to severe heat conditions that still exist.
