When I was a youngster in my teens, I was under the impression that old songs meant boring songs, which were mostly like Ghazal, sad songs etc. But it is only much later that I realised that some wonderful light hearted songs too were created those days. “Pyaar Ka Saagar” (1961) was a Filrays Production. It was directed by Devendra Goel. The movie had Rajendra Kumar, Meena Kumari, Madan Puri, O. P. Ralhan, Leela Misra, Jagdish Raaj, Moha Choti, S. K. Prem etc in it.
