An amazing song, a truly amazing song. The arrangement of the music and the play of the singing voices as the song moves from one singer to another to chorus, with multiple combinations. This turned out to be a difficult song to transcribe. 🙂

‘V’ song in this series is from the obscure film ” Lutera “(1955). Only the excel sheet of Rafi songs is having some information that Music Director is C. Ramchandra and lyricist is Rajendra Krishan. The sheet also has the info that it is picturized on Naseer Khan and Jabeen. As per the songs listed on myswar.com, there are total eight songs in the film. And this is the first song to be posted here.

Today 21st October is the birthday of the dancing diva HELEN. And it is not possible to let it pass by without a song to show our love for her.

But that is the most difficult task for us atulites. Why? Because we have covered so many of her famous songs that one has to sit down with pen and paper to make a list of those songs that are left. In that respect I envy the various radio channels and TV programmes which will show the same set of songs on every occasion. I suspect that they don’t know the existence of the lesser known songs.
