Today’s song is the last and final song from a gross entertainer by manmohan Desai – Dharam Veer-1977
This is the 10th consecutive “Last and Final Song’ of a film that I have identified and presented. In the month of July also I wrote on 2 such songs. While rummaging through the ” List of song Moviewise”, I noticed some films where only one song was left uncovered. I decided to identify such films’ songs, make a list and check the covered songs to find out which song was yet to be covered. For many films, I found that such an uncovered song was the one for which a record was not issued. Most such other films were not available on YouTube to see and copy the song (by extraction method).

Today’s song is the last and final song from a romantic comedy film Dil deewana-1974.
This light comedy film was made by Rose Movies, Bombay. Directed by Narendra Bedi, the film had music by R.D.Burman. Anand Bakshi wrote the songs. The cast included Randhir Kapoor, Jaya Bhaduri, Aruna Irani, Satyen kappu, Manmohan, Paintal, Tun Tun, Rasheed khan, Durga Khote and a loooong list of other actors, including Komal (I remember her in one of my favourite films- Chameli ki Shaadi-1986) and Jagdish Raj – the permanent Police Officer since 1956. We have seen him promoted to police Commissioner from just a Sub Inspector in films.

oday’s song is the last and final song from a film which no one remembers now. The film is Daraar-1972.
The film had a poor story, without a specific end- neither a Tragedy nor a happy ending-. It was directed by a person who had no earlier experience of direction. The cast was inexperienced and weak in acting.The music was outdated,lustreless and ordinary. Such a film could not, naturally, be a memorable film. The hero was ordinary, the heroine was ” one film wonder” and the supporting cast was not worthwhile.

Today’s song is from a “Remake” of a Telugu film in Hindi -Devi-1970.
This film was made in Madras by Olympic Pictures, Madras. It was produced and directed by V. Madhusudan Rao. This was his first foray into Hindi films. Though His name was Veeramachaneni Madhusudan Rao, he was popularly known as Victory Madhusudan Rao in the film industry. He was a producer, director and screenplay writer, mainly in Telugu films. He directed 70 films – Telugu (64), Hindi (4) and Kannada (2).

Today’s song is the last and final song from a Horror film- Darwaza-1978.
I have been seeing films (Hindi, English, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarathi and Tamil) since the late 1940s and have seen films of almost every genre, but I always avoided watching Horror films. One reason was that the Horror films made in Hindi were of very low quality, poor stories, poorer music and the audience of lower strata of society, generally. Not that the educated people are not fond of Horror films, but their percentage is very less. Such people increased after well known filmmakers started making Horror films.
