I happened to listen to this short song for the first time in today’s program on Radio Ceylon and instantly fell in love with it. It is from the film ‘Dhuaan’ (1953) under the music direction of Dhaniram. The first step in sending the post was obviously to check if it has been already posted. In my pursuit of films with ‘similar titles’, I discovered a movie of 1949 called ‘Maaya Baazaar’. So far, as per information available online I could see that there are three films with the title ‘Maaya Baazaar’ and they were released in 1949, 1958 and 1971.
