“Madhavi”(1969) was Produced by Shri.B.Radhakrishna,B.Com. and directed by Chanakya for Sri Ganesh Prasad Movies Madras. The movie had Sanjay, Pran, Padmini, Mahmood and it introduced Deepa in the title role of Madhavi.
The movie also had Nazir Hussain, Murad, Mukri, Roopesh Kumar, RajKishore, Master Shahid, Rama(Kannada actress)and Aruna Irani. They were supported by Sunder Rao ,Ganapathy Bhat, Prem Kumar, Gemini Balu, Mudaliar,
And other junior artistes suppled by Eranial R.K.Lakkumanan. The story of the movie was inspired by R GGadkari’s immortal Marathi play ”Punya Prabhav”.

Tribute to Mohammad Rafi on 43rd death anniversary
We come to that day again, when the death anniversary of Rafi Sahab becomes the subject of talk, discussion, posts in the blog, awe-inspiring for learners and a deep-thinking day for die-hard fans like me. As I grow older, the word ‘fan’ in this context sounds basic and amateur. Mukesh and his Composers – 28
‘Kal Subah’ was an unreleased film which was in the making during the 70’s. It was also probably the film’s composer Binay Bhushan’s first and last film. The director was GS Madhup and the production house belonged to Shringaar Films. I could not fetch details about the actors in the unreleased film. I request knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this movie.
